Sandals & Beaches Resorts
I've personally stayed at nine Sandals and Beaches properties across the Caribbean, not researched them online, actually been there, with my own photos and video to show you what to expect. I'm continuing to add to this list too! Barbados is next, in 2027.
Sandals: Adults-Only, All-Inclusive Luxury
Sandals is built for couples and close friends who want a genuinely romantic, adults-only escape — no kids, no crowds, just quality time with the people you love. I've visited Sandals properties across five islands, with a sixth coming in 2027:
Antigua — Sandals Grande Antigua
This was our first Sandals trip back with my husband after our honeymoon in the Bahamas, this time with our best friends alongside us. It became the start of a tradition: the four of us now visit a new Sandals resort together every other year. If you're considering a Sandals trip with another couple, I can tell you firsthand what actually works for traveling as a group.
The Bahamas — Sandals Royal Bahamian
This is where it all started for me! I honeymooned here, and it's the trip that made me fall in love with the Sandals brand. That firsthand experience as a guest, before I ever booked one for a client, is part of why I recommend Sandals with this much confidence.
Barbados — Sandals Barbados & Sandals Royal Barbados
I'll be visiting Barbados myself in 2027! Check back for firsthand photos, video, and my honest take once I'm back.
Curaçao — Sandals Royal Curaçao
Our most recent trip, and this time, I got certified in lionfish hunting, a hands-on excursion offered there. I was the only one in our group who did it, which tells you something: I'll always go the extra step to actually experience what I'm recommending, not just read about it.
Grenada — Sandals Grenada
We took a jeep excursion to explore the island on this trip, and it was one of the most fun days we've had on any Sandals trip. One fun detail: Grenada drives on the left side of the road, a small reminder of its British colonial history that catches a lot of first-time visitors off guard.

Sandals Montego Bay

(currently closed for renovation as part of Sandals' $200M "Sandals 2.0" overhaul — reopening December 18, 2026)This one was a girls' trip! My best friend and I left the husbands at home. If you want a resort that's just minutes from the airport, this is it . You can actually watch and hear planes taking off from the property. It even became a fun pool game for us: guessing when the next plane was coming in.

Sandals Negril

This one's a longer drive from the airport, but it's worth it . Negril sits along Seven Mile Beach, widely considered the most beautiful beach in Jamaica. If Montego Bay is the easy-access option, Negril is the one to pick when the beach itself is the whole point of the trip.

Sandals Ochi

Ochi is one of the more accessible entry points into the Sandals brand price-wise, without giving up the quality of the experience. It also has a hidden speakeasy on property. You need a password to get in, which makes for a fun surprise the first time someone tells you about it.

Beaches: The Family Version of Sandals
Beaches is Sandals' family-friendly sister brand — same all-inclusive quality, built for multi-generational groups instead of adults-only. I've personally stayed at both currently-open locations:
Beaches Turks and Caicos
This one's a giant wonderland; there's genuinely something for every age. We went as a multi-generational group (my family of four plus my husband's parents), and it's where my kids learned to scuba dive. If you're trying to picture a resort that can actually hold everyone's attention across generations, this is the one I point to first.
Beaches Negril, Jamaica
We brought an even bigger group here: my family of four, my in-laws, and my husband's sister with her husband and son. Negril has a much more intimate feel than Turks and Caicos, but it still had every amenity any family member could want. Honestly, my husband and I disagreed on which we liked better; he preferred Turks and Caicos, I preferred the intimacy of Negril. That's actually useful for you to know: if you're trying to decide between the two, I can help you figure out which vibe fits your family better, not just which one has more activities.
